I have had a love hate relationship with working out since 2012.
2012 was the year that I told myself I hated the way I looked. I gave up regular soda (to this day I still dont drink regular soda) and lost 10 pounds just from that. Then I did Insanity (perfect name because you will want to kill someone while doing this because the workouts are intense) and lost 20 pounds.
I was on my way, eating right, working out, losing weight, and maintaining, then I got lazy. I’d get tired then work out, tired, then work out. Never ending cycle that follows me to this day. Well now that I’m much older than I was in 2012 I’m tired. I don’t like what I see when I look in the mirror. With that said let me tell you this, it does not matter your size if you dont like how you look when you look in the mirror change that. Now back to what I was saying.
I don’t like how I look, and I’m always and I mean ALWAYS tired! Even with coffee and moving around, I’m tired so this means I need to workout to sustain some energy. So I made some small goals for myself.
- Track my meals with My Fitness Pal – this website/app is great it does all the work for you
- Work out 2-3x’s a week. We have an elliptical no excuses for me to not work out when I don’t have to leave the house. Also do some squats I can do them when I’m watching one of my shows when commercials are on.
- LEAVE THE SNACKS ALONE! At least at first. I love sugar and sugar loves me apparently. So I have to really cut back and those damn fruit snacks!
Thats all for now, I’m keeping it simple to not overwhelm myself. As I get further alone I will add to this. This should be simple for me to keep.
